The groom -- Aaron -- was born and raised in Prince George, BC before moving to Edmonton, AB to attend the University of Alberta where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting Major.

Proud parents, Erika (teacher) and Norm (promotional merchandise), still reside in Prince George, BC. Aaron's brother, Chris, lives in Edmonton and is also a graduate of the University of Alberta.

Aaron currently works as a Tax Accountant for Ernst and Young, Chartered Accountants LLP (Edmonton). While there are many specialty areas in the accounting field, Aaron feels he has found his "calling" with tax. Aaron is diligently working towards his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation and will write the UFE (CA qualifying exams) in September, 2009.

While Aaron may not be an active Rotarian, like his father and future wife, he still finds himself involved in many of the club activities of the Edmonton Urban Spirits Rotary Club, especially the club's accounting activities. 

The groom is an avid hockey player and is currently the team captain and goalie for the the Ernst & Young men's hockey team. He also looks forward to every trip with his soon to be wife to Bonaparte Lake, BC.
